I'm looking forward to giving her a spin around the dance floor. I was a bit shy about sharing this one here. Glad you started this thread. It's also manufactured in Japan. Not sure if that matters. He said in the interview part of a recent show on TV that he was inspired by one of the big blues artists that used a 335, when he went to buy a guitar he bonded with the Casino, and has used it ever since. I think he used his original vintage Casino, but I could be wrong, maybe he has recently got a reissue to save the vintage one. He sure gets a great sound out of that guitar! I'm considering getting the 'inspired by John Lennon' version, in the sunburst finish, as it has the U.S.
Made P90's and some other features that make it better to me than the cheap Casino, and the price is in between the cheap one and the Elitist. I'm wondering what the neck profile is like on the Lennon one, though.
